Hi, I’m Donnie and I run The Maker Sphere. This is a space where I plan to share whatever obsessions I am into at any particular moment in time. Lately, I have fallen down the 3D printing rabbit hole. I started out with Creality Ender 3 Pro and really loved it. After learning the ins and outs of how a 3D printer worked, I graduated to a more ‘professional’ printer. The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. It is now my everyday use 3D printer. 3D printing has really helped step up my DIY projects.
In fact, due to the fascination with my 3D printer, I have also gotten into single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi. I found a cheap and good board called the Le Potato that I have been playing around with. I used one to build out an OctoPrint server for my old Ender 3 Pro. I also have used the Le Potato board to experimented on with Kodi, home automation and retro gaming.
I am also pretty big into Magic the Gathering. I really enjoy playing Commander and all the intricacies that go in to deck building. I have made a few guides for troublesome deck building topics such as Red Enchantment Removal or just Building a Good Commander Deck, in general.
I hope this site brings you some entertainment and joy. Whether it be reading some of my guides or building one of my free projects, hopefully there is something you’ll like.
